Template Details
Each template specifies:
Resource Allocation
- CPU cores -- processing power for the Odoo instance
- RAM -- memory allocation in MB
- Disk -- storage space in GB
- Estimated concurrent users -- expected user capacity
Database Configuration
- PostgreSQL version -- database engine version
- PgTune -- automatic database parameter optimization based on resources
- PgBouncer -- connection pooling for better performance under load
- Read replica -- streaming replication for read-heavy workloads (Pro plan)
Odoo Configuration
- Config preset -- optimized
odoo.confsettings (e.g., worker count, memory limits) - Demo data -- option to include or exclude sample data
Addon Repositories
- Required repos -- essential addons that are locked in the deploy form
- Optional repos -- suggested addons that can be removed before deploying
Deploy Flow
- Browse -- visit the Catalog page and filter by category, version, or environment type
- Select -- click a template card to view full details
- Deploy -- click the Deploy button to pre-fill the environment creation form
- Customize -- adjust any settings as needed (all fields remain editable)
- Launch -- create the environment with one click
Templates are starting points, not constraints. You're always in control of the final configuration.
